Freezing Cool Store: Burton SoHo

Even if you don't snowboard, the new Burton Store on Spring Street (corner of Mercer) is definitely worth checking out. It's stuffed full of winter gear-- twenty kinds of winter jackets, snow packs, boots, and accessories. They've definitely taken the store a little bit over the top-- at the back there is a walk-in freezer where you can test the products before you buy them. Our nomination for coolest product in the shop: the helmet with the earphones built-in. Totally comfortable-- and perfect for biking or rollerblading, or just making a ridiculous fashion statement while walking around the streets. A few more pictures after the jump.
