According to the Village Voice Best of New York Issue's food picks, the "Best Use of Belly" is the pork belly at Taste of West Lake in Flushing. Personally, Gothamist thinks the best use of our belly is to run down the full list and try to taste everything on it, including the "Chillest Chilaquiles" at El Paisa in Bushwick, (we've been looking for good chilaquiles for ages!), the "Choicest Cheesecake" at Junior's (as Siestema says, "Well, duh!), the "Sauciest Ceviches" at Mercadito (both East and West Village locations), and the "Peppiest Pasta" at Cacio e Pepe in the East Village.

i've said it before and i'll say it again, junior's cheesecake is blech.
if you want good chilaquiles, get ye to El Maguey y la Tuna on houston and attorney stat
they come in verde or rojo
con huevos, pollo or steak
basically they RULE
and if you're really nice, they'll make them for you for lunch AND dinner too!
Junior's is a filthy restaurant, and I'm sad that people will go eat there, despite the reeking smell of piss in the restaurant, the roaches that skitter accross the floor, and the dim lighting which barely hides the grime in that place. STAY CLEAR!
Cafe el Portal on Elizabteh is where I get my chilaquillas.
Alma in Red Hook = Best. Chilaquiles. Ever.
