<description>&lt;p&gt;Also sounds similar to Peter Ackroyd&apos;s book, Hawksmoor. Where a modern day murderer is killing people on the same site as 18th century unsolved murders in London. The novel keeps switching back and forth in time as the detective try to resolve murders in both centuries.

Hawksmoor is a great read by the way !
