i was reading an article in the New Yorker a few months back on NYC terrorism etc and the NYPD gets and average (since 9/11) of 1500–2000 threats a year, most of which are BS, but are all, obviously checked out.

i am curious to know how many "specific" terrorist threats the city received this year, and then how many were acted upon. how specific was this threat as compared to the others? FOIA? funny title, btw.
