NB: Foster is an architect, not a developer (that would be Scott Resnick), and resigned the project. Architect (of record) is currently Costas Kondylis.

Outrage? I'm impressed-- those parents are showing what's possible and how parents can advocate for their kids.

Brianvan, as a teacher, I can attest to the huge disturbance that those pile-drivers and other construction noises create. A warm spring day...a school with no A/C, so you HAVE to open the windows, and the pounding noises from the construction site across the street... And the best part? The grade you get on that test determines whether or not you have to go to summer school. It's a big deal.

There are schools where the parents can't afford to buy basic supplies for their kids, and then there are schools like 234 where the wealthy parents raise hundreds of thousands for this stuff...where is the outrage!

great! Can't wait for the PTA task force to make sure all of their kids get A's and everyone gets playing time in each soccer game.

I remember construction noise in grammar school, and it wasn't nearly as bad as the sound of my underwear ripping as it was pulled over the back of my head.

(please. think of the kids.)
