Today's Times Magazine concludes its second annual "Capture the Times" student photo contest, and Gothamist was really impressed with the results this year. Not only is winner Jeff Chien-Hsing Liao's series of composite photographs of Queens and the 7 train stunning, but the runner-ups aren't bad either. Jessica Dimmock's exploration of a Manhattan shooting gallery reminded us of a combination between Nan Goldin's "Ballad of Sexual Dependency" and some of the stuff that boogie does.
