Thundercut on the Bowery

Apparently the news of CBGB's demise has reached the NYC streetart community-- the Thundercut team has created two beautiful pieces at the corner of Bleecker and Bowery, just opposite the club. And lest you think city artists are concerned only about local matters, check out Momo's New Orleans piece on South 5th near the Williamsburg Bridge:

Sorry, but those lamp "pieces" have been there for months and months, before talks of any demise. Hopefully the new gothamist attention won't now cause them to be removed. Boo.
