I believe we should have a memorial in queens. My mother died in that plane crash and I need somewhere to mourn when i miss her. If you dont know how it feels to loose someone in a horrifying accident please dont say comments like its a waste of time making a memorial because noone is saying anything like that for the people that died in 9/11.

I think it was a terrible tragedy that thes Te people died, however wasn't it determined that it was an accident? I think a reflecting pool or little park is more apropos than a bell ringing every day! What does the neighborhood think of all these "plans"

goddammit! I am sick and tired of memorials!!!! memorials this, memorial that...stop wasting my time and money with all your memorials! ps - i love rockaway beach and am very sorry for all the people who lost family on flight 587...but seriously New York, lets move on, huh?
