THEATER: The Thriftshop Theatre Workshop will perform abridged and condensed versions of Twelfth Night and Hamlet at the Tobacco Warehouse in Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park this weekend. Twelfth Night will be performed in vaudevillian style, complete with magic tricks, music and puppetry. Hamlet will be interpreted in the context of a New York prohibition era crime family using Kevin Connell’s new concise and accessible adaptation. [via FreeNYC]
