My daughter sent me this story because it is a story where my two passions collide. Missions and photography. I've always been interested in Mercy Ships and would love to do what Scott Harrison has done. If you read this Scott, and there's a chance for me to come on board....let me know. ps. I am so impressed! I used to be a full time party girl myself. One day I decided I was tired of taking from the world and living only for myself. I have been doing small voluteer jobs and projects, but not like what you did.(YET)

What an inspiring story. I always wanted to be a part of something that can make a difference in other peoples' lives. How can I help? I am a paramedic and I being from a 3rd world country myself, I would like to use my skills and knowledge to help out people in third world countries.

I just stumbled across this story via the Idealist.org website, and am very glad I did. I have known of Youth With a Mission and the Mercy Ships for many years, and it is great to read an article which focuses on their practical, hands-on brand of spirituality. This is a spirituality which we can all learn from, be challenged by and admire. Thank you for your coverage.
