Hear that? It's the sound of tiny violins crying for the DUMBOners. It's only a matter of time before Whole Foods moves into that neighborhood. Because it's our experience that Whole Foods/fresh Direct always go where they're needed? Like all the Whole Foods in Brooklyn? I don't think so. No matter if you're in DUMBO or Bushwick, not having a grocery store nearby SUCKS. Fresh Direct won't even deliver to 11206. Stop being so classist and think about the issue.

There are Trader Joe's all ove the East Coast as well as the West. In short, they're a very affordable grocery store that stocks lots of natural, organic and generally great-tasting food. They make food shopping fun.

What is Trader Joe's? I'm an East Coaster, sorry. Pish, this market in DUMBO won't have near the effect of the Whole Foods slated to open in G-Slope on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 3rd Street. That place is going to be rammed with both Smith Streeters and Park Slope-eyes. Bye bye Co-op!

While we're talking about groceries, can we figure out what's going on with the Trader Joe's supposedly appearing in Union Square? It's not listed as "Coming Soon" on their site. Someone do the digging for me!
