At a family party not too long ago, someone was saying much the same, why would anyone want to have kids nowadays, plus, the kids that are here, have no respect, are violent, etc. My grandmother, age 91, said that her parents often said the same things....some things just don't change, I guess. So, what the hay. If you're physically and financially able..have the kids. And be a parent, and the rest of us will help you out here and there by telling you the great, and not so great things your kids are up to, when out of your sight.

Damn tradegy, rebelious teenagers sneak out and then end up dying from overdoses. If I were a parent ( I don't see why I'd want to be on in the world we live in now ) this would be the kind of thing to put me in permanent therapy. The sad thing is who do you blame? If the guys gave them the drugs, then they are partially to blame. But the girls and their reckless behavior is also to blame. It's such a shame that two young lives were lost, for no reason at all.... But the sad thing is this could have taken place in any time period. Kids sneak out, do drugs, then die.
