Well, if you get the gelato at Otto (or the stand in Washington Square Park) it's $5 a serving; it's a big serving, but probably at most a third of a pint. So it's cheaper than the most outrageous price I can imagine.

I tried the Wild Flower Honey gelato this evening and it was delicious. Worth $10 to try or for a special occasion. Too expensive to keep stocked!

no!! i saw the gelato on Daily Candy and ordered it because my mom was coming in town and we just really like ice cream. and i never write into this site, i just wanted to say that I really like it! didn't realize this stuff was getting so popular and didn't know i could even get it in the city. that's it. really.

I ordered the chocolate lovers' package from their website and boy was it yummy!!! very expensive for ice cream, but sure was good! I'm going to Philly in a couple of weeks and plan out checking out the store! Want to taste the cilantro gelato!
