Fourth Anniversary Plans for September 11

One hundred pairs siblings of September 11 victims will be apart of this year's September 11 events. The siblings will read the names of the victims, as the World Trade Center site will be made open to the public, with first priority given to family members. There will be four moments of silence, each marking when each tower was hit and when each tower fell. And the Tribute in Light will be seen again, just slightly moved over.

The City's 9/11 Services Center. And Gothamist on September 11.

how do other new yorkers commemorate 9/11? i take the day off from work every year, and spend it with a friend of mine with whom i spent that awful day. we use the time to reflect on everything that happened. i think it's important.
