A small error in your own story, the original news desk who ran the story with the incorrect logo in the corner was Channel 10 news, the ABC program "Media Watch", a fantastic program dedicated to finding these types of zingers each week, found the story. ps, I doubt Media Watch incorrectly pronounced Neil's surname, is just accent differences, like Mom vs Mum.

Reminds me of when a Chinese newspaper mistook a fake news article from theonion.com reporting that Congress was threatening to leave Washington D.C. if the city didn't build them a new building with a retractable dome.

Also enjoyable that they mispronounced Neil's last name. Seriously, aren't there Jewish people in Australia? Poor Neil, gets his 15 minutes (well, seconds) of fame, but it's on the opposite side of the world.

Brilliant and shows that all media, will take whatever is handed to them, be it mainstream, blogs etc. without ever fact checking.. A classic Zing!!

even more baffling is that someone obviously took the images and altered them a little more. did they really think that could be the official logo?
