It's All in the Details

Gothamist has been following the story of Dean Faiello, the man who pretended to be a NYC plastic surgeon, botched an operation that left the patient dead, and hid her body in a Newark basement floor, for a while. He was finally extradited back to the U.S. this past May, and he was indicted for murder yesterday in Manhattan. The NY Post, Daily News and Newsday covered the story with the basics, but in a tiny Metro Briefing mention, the NY Times adds this that when the indictment was read, Faiello was "holding a Harry Potter book in his handcuffed hands." Eek. Should one really be holding a book other than a religious tome at an indictment? It seems too casual.
