If you’re uptown, check out acclaimed Director Werner Herzog, who will be at the American Museum of Natural History at 7:30 PM to present a free screening of his latest documentary, Grizzly Man, which explores Timothy Treadwell, who lived unarmed among the grizzly bears and believed he could safely document the animals he spent so many years studying – only to be eventually devoured by one of them. A discussion with Herzog, co-executive producer Jewel Palovak, and renowned grizzly expert/wildlife biologist Barrie Gilbert, moderated by WNYC Studio 360 host Kurt Andersen, will take place immediately after the screening.
