<description>&lt;p&gt;yes, i&apos;ve seen his show a few times. i agree it&apos;s hard to watch - he is passive aggressive and the chefs totally rip on him for it. the worst was when he went up against a master bbq expert, who slow roasted ribs on a wood burning grill for like 12 hours. bittman&apos;s response was to throw some baby back ribs from the supermarket on a gas grill for a few minutes. he was mocked heavily and then pushed into a lake by the chef to top it off. awful. &lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;Has anyone watched his TV show? He brings the most contentious, passive-aggressive, competitive energy into the kitchens of these master chefs. It is TOTALLY mortifying to watch. Even the ones he adores, like Jean Georges. I like his recipes, too. I wish he weren&apos;t such a bruiser on air.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;Goya markets red lentils.  Most every ordinary supermarket in New York should have them with Goya&apos;s other dried legumes.  Check the latin food section if your market separates it out.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
