why we still going there with the wyhte devil comments ? isnt 2005?? grow up... we all individuals.... lil kim will be aiight she needs to pray and get her life straight right now this is a eye opener for her maybe she was moving to fats. the charges are petty but if she would have told the "truth" wouldnt a lot of people called her a snitch? I dont know what to say just pray for her that she gets through the time ive been locoked up before its not a good feeling people forget about you we all make mistakes

If a star is acquitted justice has been served. If favorable star is convicted other cases are brought to light even they hold no relevance to the current case. I don't like Micheal Jackson because it's fishy that he sleeps with children but a jury of his peers said he was innocent. So he is. lil kim was found guilty.. So she is.. and a liar..

why did cooper get the a ok to give up his source and not miller? shouldn't they be the same person? I am confused to as to why miller and not robert novak is being sentenced to confinement. although I think Miller has integrity for not giving up her source, if you interpret that her source committed a crime by divulging classified information that means she is harboring him. what if she wrote a story like "jfk's assassin revealed!" wouldn't she have to give up her source to the government?

"Lil Kim is looking hot in that photo." First off, I'm black, so this isn't a racial comment, but... In that photo, Lil Kim looks like Lil Him, i.e. She looks like a man in that pic! Kinda appropriate though, in the slammer she'll need a tougher look. How do you go to jail for 'words' about a shooting, when the guys who actually did the shooting are still free? WTF?

Miller has integrity? You must be freakin kidding? She was willingly used by the Admin and she got lots of preferential treatment (remember her little jaunts with Task Force 30 or whatever it was called). She is a hack and a joke. And her raps suck. Free Lil' Kim!

Lil Kim is looking hot in that photo. Very surprising since she usually looks kind of skanky, to say the least. Don't feel too bad for her. At the end of the day, she'll probably get a reality TV show, plus sales of her albums will increase.

The fact is: she was used by this administration. She's maintaining a level of trust and integrity that Someone (likely Rove) depended on while not having any integrity of their own. Well, it'll certainly help her sell more records. Anyone know if this is in line with what other people were sentenced? For that matter, did Other people lie to a Grand Jury and just get a smack on the wrist?

Actually, the year and a day has to do with the Bureau of Prisons "good time" formula. See 18 USC sec. 3624. If she had been sentenced to less time, she would not have been eligible for the good time credit and would end up serving more days in prison. With a sentence of 366 days rather than 365, she could end up serving 54 days less.
