2005_07_fireworks.jpgRooftop Films seems like the place to go this weekend, with two performances by John Darnielle. The Mountain Goats, live music, rooftop, movies...yes please.

The first is on Saturday, July 2, 8pm
With a showing of Dirty Birds (two, hour-long documentary films). Plus a live performance by The Mountain Goats on the roof of The Old American Can Factory [232 3rd Street, at the corner of 3rd Ave. Gowanus, Brooklyn]
The second is on Monday, July 4, 8pm
With a showing of Some Folks Call It Un-American (explosive films about America). Plus a live performance by The Mountain Goats and a great view of the fireworks on the roof of The Fulton Mall Parking Garage [300 Livingston St., between Bond & Nevins Downtown Brooklyn]
