I wish Bloomberg would put even one tenth of his West Side Stadium efforts towards Ground Zero.

I give up. The only way a good design for the site will happen is if Larry Silverstein and Pataki somehow develop a sense of taste, which I don't expect to happen any time soon. Bloomberg actually exhibits good design instinct in other projects so he should have been more forceful in talking these guys out of these white elephants.

IMO, Making it "Safer" is such a Bogus Excuse. It's Now 65 to 125 feet from West Street, but looks to be right next to Fulton and Vessey St.
