What I think is most odd is to have something called an "Australian Wine Party" - without a drop of Australian Wine! Which, if I do say so myself, is amongst the finest in the world. Joining the chorus of pro-Melbourne cheers, which I think proves that Sydney-ites are illiterate, can't subscribe to an rss feed or actually think they are living in New York already. Sad, but true.
