It's not too hot...it's not too cold...it's totally just right! Enjoy it because we're sure it won't last long. Here are some suggestions for you...
MUSIC: First off, don't forget about Movable Hype 3.0 coming up on Monday! Buy tickets here.
This Saturday though we suggest you catch local do-gooders DOP for their record release party and after-party. We interviewed Dirty on Purpose last year and love them even more now.
The rest of your weekend music roundup can be found at the end of this post, as usual.
ART: A little while ago Gothamist interviewed the people behind the "I Pity The Dolls" gallery. Last night on our way home we passed it ourselves. It was late, and it was closed...but the image of all those little Mr. T's staring out at us won't be something we'll soon forget. Make sure you check it out for yourselves. It's only going to be there until July 9th. Fools.
PARTY: The Trampoline House is having a launch party for their White Issue. The event is Saturday in Brooklyn and you can get all of the details here. All we needed to know was live music and inflatable pools.
FILM: Check out our outdoor summer movie guide, it'll be a good weekend for it. The New York Asian Film Festival is also this weekend (through June 26th). We're bummed that Godzilla Final Wars is sold out, but there's plenty more to see - check the full schedule here.
Our suggestion, if you really want to know, is that you get your friends with roof access to have a BBQ or daytime party. It's free, it's fun and the weather is cooperating this weekend. No luck with the roof? Then head to the beach or maybe even a driving range.
Enjoy!

Godzilla Final Wars is Freaking awesome. I saw it at Seattle International Film Festival.
Hey, I made an iCal calendar for all you Mac-owning, film-loving, Gothamist-reading peeps.
Check it out here:

Ooooh, a contest - - that is a nice post about the chance to win free tickets.
We are having an event in August in Manhattan, dear Gothamist. Though it is a FUNDRAISER for the benefit of a theatre company with 501 (c)(3) status, we are open to giving away a few free tickets. If interested, please rattle our cage.
