Another Helicopter Crashes into the East River

Wild: A helicopter crashed into the East River, near the United Nations, this afternoon; this is the second helicopter incident this week, after a crash on Tuesday. The helicopter has now sunk into the river. Early reports say that the people on board the helicopter seem to have survived, although there is a diver underwater (Newsday wasn't sure if the diver was looking for more passengers or the helicopter). It's also unclear whether or not the helicopter was for sightseeing.

FYI, the helicopter was a tour 'copter. And if you have NY1, watch it now. Best coverage on all levels.
