June 13 - 26: Festival de Helados
Rosa Mexicano brings us ice cream, ice cream, and more ice cream in exotic flavors and combinations at their annual celebration. Rosa Mexicano, 61 Columbus Avenue, at 62nd Street, 212-977-7700.

June 16: Spanish Wine and Tapas
Got a craving for Spanish wine and tapas? You've got plenty of chances to get your fix this week. First, on the 16th at Discovery Wines, 10 Ave A at Houston Street from 6-9pm. If you miss that one, try Morrell & Company on the 17th from 3:30 to 6:30 at 1 Rockefeller Plaza (49th between 5th and 6th avenues). Call 212-262-7700 for reservations. Taste of the Nation, the event that benefits local and national anti-hunger and anti-poverty organizations, is giving it a go Brooklyn-style. Taste food from classic Brooklyn culinary institutions such as Junior‘s and Bubby’s Brooklyn, from Fifth Avenue's restaurant row, including Blue Ribbon, Tempo Restaurant & Wine Bar, and Stone Park Café, and from restaurants across the borough, including Applewood, Five Front, Ici, Minnow, Miracle Grill, Osaka, Rice, and Rosewater. June 16: Sausage Fondue Dinner Open House
Mandler’s is having a party to celebrate their new fondue offerings. They're pairing their flame-roasted sausages with either classic cheese fondue, with Gruyere, Emmethal and white wine, or a spicy tomato, onion and pepper version. If you can't decide which is your favorite link -- Bratwurst, Krainerwurst, Bockwurst, Knockwurst, Chicken, Turkey, Italian, Kosher Beef,Andouille, or and Chorizo -- don't sweat it, you get to pick two. 5 PM – 10 PM, 26 East 17th Street off Union Square. 212-255-8999.

How can you resist a panel of food bloggers? June 19th: Discount for Dad at Sarabeth's
You all know you've done it -- bought your dad a crappy tie for fathers' day. But this time, he can actually put it to good use. This Sunday, the new Sarabeth’s will allow dads to trade unwanted ties for 20 percent off their entire table’s dinner check. The day after Father’s Day, the Sarabeth’s staff will vote on the most garish tie turned in and send its former owner a $100 dinner gift certificate. All ties will then be donated to Goodwill. 40 Central Park South, between 5th & 6th avenues.

June 21: Sangria! Sangria! Sangria!
Love sangria? Go to Vino-versity's class and taste eight sangrias: White-Citrus, Passionfruit-Banana, Blue Hawaiian, Apple-Ginger, Raspberry-Grapefruit, and more. June 22nd: Wine and Cheese Pairing for Singles
The cheese and wine experts at Artisanal will give you the cheese basics, including milk types, textures, and flavors as well as how to shop for, care for, and serve fine cheese, then offer tips for choosing wines that complement each cheese type.
