Michael Jackson was found not guilty on all counts brought against him. This means defense attorney Thomas Mesereau is 1-for-2 in getting seemingly guilty celebrities off (we were mistaken in thinking he was Robert Blake's attorney during the acquittal; Gothamist guesses Mesereau won't be getting that "Lawyer to Stars Who Can't Pay So Good" plaque) and/or that the California legal system sucks. All Gothamist has to say is that no other parent can consider themselves ignorant of the accusations against Michael Jackson. Something freaky deeky is going on at Neverland Ranch, and why anyone would want their child involved in it, we don't know.

IMO, After going on National TV in that "documentary" and saying It's OK to sleep with little boy's, we'll see another trial before long.
There are a lot of violent people out there, I really hope no on takes a shot at him.
Even though it will probably be impossible to prove what happened, you have to wonder. If Jackson isn't a pedophile, and just wants to "heal the world" and save the children, why does he seem most interested in sharing his bed with boys between the ages of 8 and 13? If what he is doing isn't sexual and is the purest expression of love, then surely it would be okay to share his bed with girls, no? So why don't you ever hear stories about Jackson serving "Jesus juice" to pre-pubescent girls?
The classic sign of a pedophile is the interest in one type of child, a specific gender or age, at the exclusion of others.
Kids should certainly be protected from Michael Jackson, but who will protect them from their parents who send them to sleepovers with Michael Jackson?
Specific to the Jackson trial, he got away with it because the evidence trail did not work. There was too much reasonable doubt and the prosecution had a questionable base to build on.
No doubt he's a child molestor. But in the world of this case, the evidence failed to prove it. That's the tragedy.
I feel sorry for Michael Jackson. His whole lifestyle is that of a classic pedophile. I understand he had his childhood stolen from him by his father and family, but at some point you have to draw a line. And in this case, he's joing the ranks of Robert Blake and O.J. Simpson as a star who 'got away' with it.

As rotten as child molestation is, I consider any parent who would willingly send their child into a pedophile's home in hopes of scoring a huge settlement to be much, much worse. Child molesters are supposed to pray on children -- it's what they do. But parents are supposed to protect children, and to sacrifice your child in some wretched blackmail/lawsuit scheme is far more disgusting.
It's true that he could be nurturing, which was part of how he drew some vulnerable young men in.
