I'm sure your city is very nice but urban manhunt is not a New York invention. It is directly inspired by manhunt toronto and even Halifax had a manhunt before new york. By all menas love it and run with it, but it's technically not "only in new york"..

Having hated the 9 with a blinding passion ever since it was first created (I lived at 157th Street growing up), I can't tell you how elated I was to learn that it had been eliminated when I went back to New York last weekend. Best of all, almost every trace of the 9's existence has already been eliminated from the station signage... not from the subway maps, yet, but their time will come. Soon I'll be wondering if maybe it was all just a bad dream, like Newhart.

Among the stupider consequences of the 1/9 "skip-stop" "system," let me point out that when it was fully instituted, the 1 train actually made every stop from 157th Street to 200th... that's five stops in a row, people.

Goodbye and good riddance.
