Dont worry Blike- thought that was a good, well- thought out list. I am intriged by the minority numbers 46%, 50% and 62%- how did we jump to 62%? Maybe I need to read the article.

Nice. You're perspective on spin is off--do you think the sun spins around the earth then? How am I spinning these facts? Are you calling these lies? Seriously--look them up. Bloomberg *did* oppose the Equal Benefits bill. Homeless *is* the highest in NYC history. Bloomberg *did* appoint all the members of the RGB.

People who ignore these important facts will vote for Bloomberg based on rough impressions rather than facts, similar to the millions who voted for Bush but never bothered to look up any details.

O Irony! O Sweet Irony!

Shelly Silver just handed Mayor Bling four more years.

Sorry Blike, seriously! (It would help if he wasn't running virtually unopposed.)

These are all facts. If I'm a fool for pointing them out and trying to help people make an informed decision based on the real Bloomberg, so be it.

How exactly is he "doing a good job"? Can anyone name five good decisions he's made? Seriously! Some people like him but can't even count on one hand the reasons why they like him.

Still for every good decision he may have made, he's counteracted them with many more bad decisions. And some of those bad decisions are unforgivable.

Bloomberg seems to always forget about one interest group in particular: New Yorkers.

Bloomberg appointed all members of the RGB, who more than doubled rent increases to nearly the highest in city history.
Bloomberg brags about a low public assistance caseload, yet New York's homelessness population in 2005 is the highest in recorded city history.
Bloomberg paid more attention to other projects than to rebuilding Ground Zero (which after nearly four years is still empty).
Bloomberg bypassed the democratic process by firing three members of the Panel for Educational Policy simply because they disagreed with his views on social promotion.
Bloomberg boasts about a budget surplus but doesn't mention that we have a larger budget deficit just one year later.
Bloomberg's budget doesn't include proper funding for New York City schools, and he has failed to get Albany to give NYC what we are owed.
Bloomberg proposed a unitary ballot for primaries, which were designed to unfairly weaken the Democrats.
Bloomberg has supported quotas for "quality of life" violations for silly things such as feeding pigeons and wrong font sizes on store signs.
Bloomberg went on to propose strange bans on dog barking and ice cream truck music.
Bloomberg has plans to institute a license that would effectively close nighttime establishments at 1am.
Bloomberg banned smoking, yet specifically wrote exceptions in the law to allow the upper class to smoke.
Bloomberg supported the NYPD's illegal search-and-seizure methods at the RNC.
Bloomberg personally donated money to the Republicans to support George W. Bush's reelection.
Bloomberg opposed the Equal Benefits bill.

These are all verifiable facts about Bloomberg. I don't call these actions "doing a good job."
