I've just read the book. It's good, everything it says it's 100% right and it made me realize how much my boyfriend loves me & how much I love him,& how lucky I am to have this man.But...I love SATC,and...it's all the opposite!!!Carrie ends up with the man who didn't ask her out, didn't call her, didn't date her, didn't want to marry her, married somebody else...God...I loved how it ended first,I thought it was how it had to end (my boyfriend kept saying me it was wrong & he was disappointed because he wanted her to be with Aidan, and I said that NO, that Big was the love of her life) but now, after reading the book,I feel cheated by liz & Greg, because they were in the SATC team! Are u trying to confuse me? please let me know what you think about it! Many thanks!

Er...

I have a feeling there isn't a *better picture*.

Isn't anyone tired of these Sex in the City bimbos?

I just wanted to go on the record and say that I didn't mean to insult Liz and Greg's wonderful book. Honey, the truth is, I had a few more martinis than usual and was feeling like I was losing touch with my audience of single women. Feeling threatened by this book, I lashed out in a jealousy. After talking with Oprah over the telephone a few times, she helped me realize I was wrong and I feel the need to come to terms with this. So, I'd like to publicly give a "you go girlfriend" to Liz tuccillo and honey, maybe you can introduce me to Michael Patrick King some time!

If Liz think maybe there isn't someone perfect and Greg thinks you gotta keep trying.... I submit that this articulates a true gender difference. Men have the option of doing the pursuing in a way women don't. The guy really has to be crazy about you (and to NOT want to pursue anyone else). I know of only a handful of successful relationships where the girl chased the guy, and the guy was always shy and passive.

Not subscribing to cable stations like HBO means I didn't see the original runs of the "Sex and the City" episodes. Most of my friends watched the show and talked about it A LOT. I happened to see those two last episodes recently and thought they were excellent and what a wow show. But then I started to view some other episodes and decided to stop since I was just not that into it.
