Crime rate is based on what&apos;s reported, not arrests. So, like, if you get mugged, that&apos;s a crime whether the cops catch the mugger or not.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;while i appreciate the bravery of the police during 9-11 and whatnot, i have to say that it&apos;s very easy to imagine that complaints against the police have gone up.  i find that at least 50% of the time, the police are so rude, unfriendly, unhelpful, and downright nasty that i often regret having to deal with them.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
