The project is well on the way to cancellation...like the 2nd Ave subway, high line, Jets Stadium, LIRR East Side Access and anything else requiring public funds.

Big dreams. Big pffffffffft.

The last big thing built in NYC was Ashe Stadium ... constructed with no public money whatever.

Great analysis by Dave H. There should be riots in the streets over what the heck the MTA is doing with all our money.

They should take their time designing this project. The Fulton Street station is one of the oldest and most complicated stations in the entire system. It’s redesign is just to supplement the new plans for ground zero anyway. It can wait a little longer.

So if it was announced a year ago and they're already a year behind schedule, that means they've essentially accomplished nothing since the original announcement? What an economically elegant way of saying "we suck and are no good at getting things done."
