It's hideous. I feel like I'm looking at a swimming pool in someone's backyard. The least they could have done was paint the whole thing blue. Sheesh.

While they're at it, let's add a flaming streak to the ball whenever it goes above 88 mph. And use runway models instead of ball boys.

I vote for green courts and bright orange balls. I always use the orange ones when I can find them. yes, I'm announcing on gothamist.com that I have orange balls.

It actually does make sense. Although not sure why it's only happening now. I never understood why balls are yellow played on a green surface (I'm sure the surface color is to replicate grass). Although when playing on grass or clay the ball becomes virtually the same color as the court.
