Here's an interesting read about CBGB:
MOMA BLCKR

You know what else? The owner, Hilly Kristal, has had an outpouring of support and has received grant offers from rich donors, but he refused. Why?

I can think of a million other charities that need money more desperately than Hilly and his oh-pity-me-CBGB. Did you know New York has record-high homelessness? (As in, the highest EVER on record!)
