Supposedly Channel 2 had a report some time ago showing a big bulge in the wall and forwarding the hypothesis that there was water buildup that could cause a collapse. That's what I heard anyway, and that could be why Mayor Bling was asked if he could have seen this coming. Guess he can't deal with Ernie Anastos (like most of us).

Jeez I love having a mayor who refuses to get sucked into making inflammatory and accusatory comments during press conferences at crises. Bloomberg rocks!
