It's gotta be MetroTech. There just doesn't seem like enough room anywhere else. Nick & Joe's on Court Street had better hire another delivery guy...

Funny that Pollack says that his experience with Brooklyn only includes Peter Luger's, considering that part of his film was shot in Crown Heights.

"Gothamist liked how the Times noted that Lee "maintains" an office in Fort Greene, since he now lives in an Upper East Side townhouse."

Why the snarkiness towards Spike Lee? The guy was born and raised in Brooklyn, has gone out of his way to film and focus on Brooklyn in his films and his production office for "40 Acres & A Mule" is still located in Brooklyn. The guy does good and is known globally as a Brooklynite; what's there not to 'like' about the New York time asking him about this issue?

Sydney Pollack is a lummox! Manhattan obviously has the hoity-toity cosmopolitan edge, but when it comes to down-at-the-heels internationalism (which is what the UN is all about), Brooklyn is the place.

Where could they possibly be looking for space in Brooklyn? If it isn't Metrotech, what could be big enough?
Not sure if anyone else gets this feeling, but I smell a Ratner. The UN at Atlantic Yards anyone?
