Actually, we generally don't have comments for our interviews - there have been some bad previous experiences. Check out our archives here and you'll see that about 90% of the interviews do not feature open comments. We are also in the process of working on interviews with the other candidates, including Margarita Lopez and Norman Siegel.

speaking of politics... I noticed that gothamist disconnected the comments option from the interviews, starting with the Andrew Rasiej interview. Rasiej paid for an ad on the gothamist website, so I take it that jake doesn't want the riff raff commenting about him. It's becoming more like the huffington report around here.

The first thing Giffy has done right is to perform kareoke. Freddie Ferrer will probably try to sing too, but will fumble the song choice.

He's not the only singing candidate. I can't find a link, but WNYC had tape of C. Virginia Fields singing a gospel song a couple days ago.
