Back to Zero

wcbs2_radar.gifThe year is a little more than a third over and with the cool weather yesterday our average temperature for the year so far dropped to almost exactly normal. To be overly precise, our average temperature is 0.004 degrees above normal. Interestingly, we've had slightly above normal high temperatures balanced out by slightly below normal low temperatures.

Today's cool weather will drop us below normal for the year. Frost advisories are out again for much of New Jersey. We'll see a gradual warm-up through the weekend. Right now it looks like Sunday's high temperature will be in the mid-70s. Not quite warm enough to warrant this but much warmer than it has been.

There's a very slight chance of a rain shower today. Gothamist only mentions it because the radar shows a rain cell off the Jersey coast. The chance of rain is low enough that we are leaving our umbrella at work.
