Great idea for small/lower traffic stations. Horrible idea for heavilly trafficed stations. Rockefeller Center & Union Square are crowded with tons of people. If you're one lone station clerk in the middle of that mess, damn. You're not going to have a good time. They'll just be mobbed.

I don't think they are "selling less cards," but they may be selling fewer cards.
