I live in the building right where the guy collapsed. I was on my roof deck, and noticed the critical path bike ride, when my friend looked down and noticed the stabbed man. So yes, critical path ride AND the man being stabbed happened at the same time, and may have intersected. Word is that the guy may have been stabbed in the park, and stumbled across the chrystie st. intersection to the other side, which would literally have put him right before or after the critical path ride.

hmm..perhaps if they had a few cops on the Bowery instead of the Critical Mass ride, this wouldn't have happened.
