They also did some filming for Dark Water down on Wall Street. We could watch them film the scenes from the windows on our floor.

I was working on 28th and Madison last year and they were filming in front of the Ziff Davis building. The dude who runs a deli on the North side of the block was also in a huff because foot traffic was sparse and everyone from the shoot was eating at the craft services table.

Reading that Markowitz comment about Park Slope being camelot. Brooklyn is a tale of multiple cities. Go to east flatbush, bed stuy or east new york and you've got bricks, mortar and gunfire.

The Japanese original isn't that great, so hopefully they'll improve on the American version. Let's hope that this remake fares better than say, "The Grudge" (which was soooo stupid).

Haha...i just read the yahoo description link, and the daughter's name is Ceci...which means "chickpeas" in italian :)

This was also filming in Park Slope (4th and 14th) on a block where a friend of mine lives. I didn't notice any exterior shots in the trailer that match his street, but maybe SOMEDAY
