Movable Hype 3.0

Movable Hype 3.0 (we know you've been waiting for it) will be on June 29th at the Knitting Factory, and we're currently booking. The show is in the main space and we wanted to put it out there that if you're in a band and think you can draw a good crowd - feel free to contact us at: jencarlson@gothamist.com and we may just book you. The main room holds about 400 people, so please only email if you can fill up a good percentage of that space.

Also, we're trying to wrap up the booking for a rock/comedy show at a smaller space in May. We've got some great comedians involved already but could use one more and a perhaps a light-hearted band as well (note: brooding mood rock does not mix well with comedy). We considered writing an open letter to Baby Dayliner [pictured] after his manager told us he was unavailable, but we're not the begging type. Wait, yes we are. Baby Dayliner...play our show please! We love you.
