:D
I walked by ben & jerry in the east village and there must have been hundreds of people waiting in line. Is it really worth waiting 2 hours for a 2 dollar ice cream cone. it was similiar to scenes of vatican city that I saw on tv earlier today.
When I snuck out to the one at Macy's at 2:30ish, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. There was a line, but it was moving very quickly.
Yeah, there is a live band outside the one on 3rd Ave and a line wrapped around the block.
laren you are entirely too excited by this whole thing. it's cute actually.
Well of course I'm excited! Free ice cream! Did I mention it was free? (and B&J is one of my favorites, next to Otto's gelato, of course, but the only time I got that free was the day of the blackout!)
I hit up two different places--the Times Sq. B&J's (I got mint chocolate chunk), then headed down to Macy's (sweet cream & cookies). Then I went to a concert :) The Times Sq. one was better, since they served the ice cream in sugar cones, not the regular kind they had at Macy's.
