Bushwomen

flanders_l_bushwomen.jpgKerryites, still wracking your brain for a reason why George W. won. Well, Air America host, Laura Flanders has a theory which she uncovers in her latest book Bushwomen: How They Won the White House for Their Man.

Tonight Laura Flanders will be at NYU to discuss her thoughts on how Connie Rice, Laura Bush, Karen Hughes, Gale Norton et all, worked their feminine wiles to keep Bush the leader of the free world.

Laura will be joined by Ann Butler, Senior Archivist, The Fales Library, NYU; Margo Jefferson, Pulitzer Prize winner and former New York Times Critic-at-Large; Ellen Willis, Prof of Journalism & Mass Communication, NYU; and artist Karen Finley (one of the NEA Four) for what should be an interesting roundtable.

The panel begins at 6:30pm at the Cantor Film Center at NYU, 36 East 8th St. It's free. RSVP to: 212.807.9680.
