Gothamist jumps at the chance to pick up zucchini flowers whenever the opportunity presents itself. Due to their perishable nature (they last only about a day or so), they are rarely an ingredient you can actually find with any real consistency.
As such, Gothamist likes to stick to the classic Italian preparation of stuffing the blossoms with a fresh, herb flecked ricotta (and some toasted pine nuts) and pan frying them in a shallow layer of garlic-infused olive oil.
You can find zucchini blossoms right now at Garden of Eden @ the 7 E. 14th St location for $1.50 each.

another great use for them is as pizza topping. "Fiori di zucca" pizza is pretty common over in rome.
Ah yes... I saw some at Greenwich Produce at Grand Central Market late last week.
frittata. gran frito along with asparagus and artichoke hearts.
