Even though it happened across the pond, Gothamist was a little obssessed with Prince Charles and Camilla's marriage yesterday because when we were wee, we remembered watching Prince Charles's first marriage. Mainly, Gothamist was watching for the fashion. We absolutely loved Philip Treacy's awesome hat and headdress - they beautiful and whimsical and the headdress especially was just a shade short of loony and somehow worked for this post-menopausal (we assume) princess.
The Sunday-Mirror gives Camilla the thumbs up on her outfits. The official news from the website of HRH Prince of Wales. The guest list is a hoot; and how did Joan Rivers get invited? And Gothamist loves how stateside producers reverted to comparing this wedding with the first, because Princess Di is a guaranteed ratings bait.

After years of putting it off, Charles has finally married his noble steed.
Cheers to both of them
What a snarky remark from Gothamist: "post-menopausal (we assume)princess".
one that befits a privileged new jersey school girl who deludedly considers herself a real new yorker (we assume).
you don't like it, then don't read it.
Don't like it? Don't read it? Piss off.
I'm a tad shocked that a couple of equal age gets married because they love each other and everyone is saying the nastiest junk.
Some of the stuff said in the stateside press about Camilla is jawdroppingly beyond snarky. Heard her called "horse-face" more than once.
And heck, didn't Charles also get nasty press because he dared to say he hates the press? Call a man's girlfriend a horse-face more than a few times and I guess you might piss someone off.
But then Ashton and Demi. Yeah. They're "shocking" in a very positive way I guess. Nobody says half the stuff about that generational match made in publicist heaven that poor Charles and Camilla get.
