<description>&lt;p&gt;Professional readings that cost money will definitely make me smarter and increase my cultural awareness. But Gothamist should also check out FREE readings that happen all over the east village/LES. One of my favorites is the Antagonist movement on Sunday nights at Black &amp; White (10th bet. 3rd &amp; 4th). It is funny, crass and (most of the time) thought provoking.
