We *all* work hard, 'jen/arts,' and most of us don't have high-profile blogfans panhandling on our behalf when misfortune strikes. We all do, presumably, have hearts though. It's unfortunate but happens all the time to people of all sorts. Insurance would have been a wise thing to have taken out on such expensive equipment - a pricey lesson. -kbc

you people have no hearts! if you don't want to give $ to them, then don't. i personally think that musicians work very hard...if you haven't been in their shoes then you have no right to judge as to whether their job is "tuff" or not.

for real. nobody put on a benefit for me when my apartment got ripped off. i was the asshole for not spending $200 on insurance. sucks for these guys, but it's not like their job is that tuff in the first place.

I just saw them play at Bimbo's in esseff and they seemed to be not too much the worse for wear. They were playing on new (borrowed? instruments, still with price tags).

I like the band too and it sucks what happened to them but come on, donate money to them? I can think of a million better causes to donate money to..getting an indie rock band instruments is not one of them.

Yes, go help them. They always have a great show. And they are playing at Irving Plaza in May.
