New York Dreammakers: People Who Came to New York and Achieved Their Dreams

Dreamakers.jpgFor those stuck sucking on the big apple's pit, this fundraiser for Free Arts NYC might be worth checking out. It's a two part panel discussion about people who came to New York and succeeded in finding fame and fortune.

Among those sharing their stories tonight are: Peter Arnell, Ann Hampton Callaway, Liz Callaway, Clodagh, Olympia Dukakis, Todd Eberle, Kim Hastreiter and David Hershkovits, Mary Ellen Mark, John "Lypsinka" Epperson, Jennifer Bartlett, Andrea Rosen and Frank DeCaro. Bob Morris from the New York Times and Roma Torre from NY1 moderate.

Complimentary cocktails and snacks will be served between panels.

Things get started at 7:30pm at Angel Orensanz Foundation, 172 Norfolk St. Tickets are $25 at the door or $20 through paypal. For more information call 212.592.3695.
