I got to dress up as a green gorilla and go onstage with the Super Furry Animals at the Leeds festival a few years ago. Does that count?

well it was a very roomy costume, thus leaving plenty of space for the whole gothamist gang (as well as some other websites).

"matthew" it wasn't a free concert it was a private benefit/party. and i believe being "elite" is a bit different than getting asked to dress up in a furry (and yes, smelly) animal costume by the band's people - who had nothing to do with the pretentious, self-important doormen that night. anyway, it was a fun night and i feel lucky i got to be a part of it...

nice, I heard they were turning people away from the door because they weren't pretty enough to get admittance to the free concert. must be good to be one of the elite.
