Last night Gothamist was found dancing in an owl costume on stage with the Flaming Lips. The wine consumed beforehand helped to guide our feet in a more festive rhythm, however it's left us ailing today. If you're in better shape, you may want to try out one or more of the following this weekend:
ART: Check out the Diane Arbus Revelations exhibit at the Met. The show traces the artist's early experiments with photography in the 1940s to her mature portraiture of the 1960s. NYC was Arbus' lifelong home, this is the first time in 30 years that an exhibit of her work is being viewed at one of our major museums.

MUSIC: Tonight @ Trash [256 Grand Ave, Brooklyn] the lineup is fairly (and by fairly, we mean totally) solid: Mike Wexler, Black Lights (Kyp from TV On the Radio), Other Passengers, Print, Talibam!
Solid, and if you're into free drinks the open bar runs from 9 to 10 (and we're pretty certain you can get some $2 PBR's after that. Call it a hunch.)
Deli Magazine is also having their 2nd issue launch party/show over at Sin-e [150 Attorney St]. With 2 for 1 drinks specials until 10pm and another solid lineup: Hopewell, Mudville and Nicole Atkins.
FILM/COMEDY: The Found Footage Festival is a live comedy event and screening featuring clips from videotapes found at thrift stores, garage sales, warehouses and dumpsters throughout the country. So if you thought you got rid of the evidence forever, you may be wrong if curators Geoff Haas, Joe Pickett and/or Nick Prueher have found that video of you lip-syncing to the New Kids on the Block (that's a random example, we never did that or anything). These three also provide a commentary on said tapes, so head over there and hope you aren't on any of them. Watch a preview here.
Enjoy the weekend, paint some easter eggs - or at the very least eat some jellybeans.
